DR J Aberdeen Taxi Cab uses the contact number, journey details and notes you provide to respond to your enquiry and arrange your requested taxi journey. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your ride.
Where your request goes
The website prepares a WhatsApp message. You choose whether to send it using WhatsApp, which processes information under its own privacy policy. If email notifications are enabled, your request is also delivered to our booking inbox through Resend. When the reservations inbox is enabled, your request is stored securely for DR J to review. Once accepted, your journey details, contact number, passenger count, luggage and notes are saved in our private Google Calendar to manage the reservation and reminders. Our calendar may also be viewed through Apple Calendar. No customer calendar invitation is sent automatically.
Maps and route estimates
When you request a route estimate, the pickup and destination are sent to Google Maps to calculate a route. Embedded Google Maps loads only after you choose to load it. Opening an external map takes you to Google’s service. No live driver location is collected or displayed.
Storage and retention
Your theme preference is stored on your device. Temporary, hashed network identifiers are used to limit automated requests. Availability is stored separately without booking details. Hosting and communication providers may retain operational logs. DR J keeps correspondence only as long as necessary to arrange your journey and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
Your choices
Contact DR J to request access, correction or deletion of your information. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact details are on the contact page.
When you type three or more characters into an address field, your search text is sent via this website to Photon for address suggestions based on OpenStreetMap. No device location is requested. You can edit the suggested address before booking. Address coverage varies. Data: OpenStreetMap contributors.
